Bearing tips. 1. Work in a CLEAN working enviroment. Dirt causes damage! 2. Always use a Bearing press or good extraction tool for replacement. 3. Alway clean out ALL old oil and dirt before re-lubricating. 4. Unless you have Biltin ALWAYS fit the correct size Wheel Spacers and Speed Rings. 5. Poor care will result in the best to fail FAST. 6. Use low viscosity oil NOT WD 40! |

Swiss Labyrinth – Super 6 Balls – Ceramic The original Bones Swiss are all designed with a high tech inner race and precision bearing seals to keep dirt out. Labyrinth shields are non-contact, so that they do not increase friction. The only difference you will notice is that the Swiss will last several times longer than the originals between cleanings. This significant increase in service life comes at a very small increase in cost, so the value is greatly increased. For this reason the Labyrinth get our vote from this line up!

Biltin's Biltin's abec 7's are possibly the easiest in the world to look after. Out of all on sale today world wide our team riders vote these as there favourite bearing of all time. Biltin's are very well engineered, no wheel spacers needed, they are “built in” hence Biltin's. No “speed rings” needed, yep you got it; they are “built in”. Easy clean: the inner face is “open” but dirt is kept out as the two faces touch each other to form a 10mm spacer with “solid” outer shields. In the winter our team riders us a “heavier” bearing lube, come spring flush them out and re-lube with“light viscosity synthetic oil”. Well maintained Biltin's last for years. This makes Biltin's great value and a high end bearing. Remember Biltin's are designed for a wheel that use 10mm Spacers, so you cannot use them in Kryptonics as these use 8mm Spacers. |

This is how we made our first set of Ceramics. Two years ago we had a meeting with a great Guy who owned and ran one of the largest bearing companies in the UK. After a lot of luaghing by "Mr Bearing" we uncovered the myths surrounding this issue. So we broke down the whole assembly. Made a list of what a skateboarder or Longboarder wanted from a set after asking them. Then setting out on a mission to have the high quality individual components made, blissfully marry them togther, test and explain to the factory that we are doing this to help fellow skaters and longboarders. We want to cover our costs BUT not rip them off.
