Freebords have been around in the UK for a few years now and they just keep getting better, we have worked and ridden this brand for over 6 years!! If you are new to the world of the Freebord our advice is when you first start to ride and surf your new Freeboard, take it easy, they are great but this is Snowboarding on the road, so please wear wrist guards and a helmet. These boards love smooth tarmac BUT your skin was not designed to hit the black stuff or slide on it… |

Riding looks easy, but it's not if you have never ridden a skateboard or Snowbord. As a beginner, you have to commit to the idea that you are snowboarding on a pavement (not skateboarding). And like learning to snowboard it may take several days or weeks to get the hang of it, if you can rip on the snow just use the same heel and toe side action but take it easy. You will need a sensible hill with a smooth surface during the learn stage of Freebording. For the board to work well you need to relax and become at one with your new Freebord.
View our Longboard store, not all UK skateboard stores are the same! Cheap fun and a lot of kit for the money! |

Freebords for all NO excuses!!
Pictured above is” Dangerous Dave” Black with the all new G3 Freebords. Every day people come into the shop and say I am too old to start skateboarding, Longboarding. Well here are some facts about our great friend Dave; he’s 27 going on 28, just learnt to ride a longboard and skateboard, he has had two books published and he lives with us which is over 6000 miles away from his home land, “so what” I here all you skaters say!! Well: he is severely Autistic, suffers from Cerebral Palsy, suffers bouts of Hydrocephalitus and has a Digital Brain Shunt fitted to help reduce the constant fits due to his severe disabilities, he helps out in our UK skate shop and works on all of our IT Projects. Not only is he a great friend to us all he works dam hard not to mention last year he one the prestigious award of Photo Laureate of the Year! So please no feeble excuses, if “Dangerous Dave can Skate and street surf any person with legs can!! |
